Aerodynamics Study

BIA has conducted researches on unsteady flow, flow separation and vortex movement, correcting method of aerodynamic elasticity, ,aerodynamic parameter identification of vehicles, unbalanced chemical flow and high-altitude plumes, aerodynamic configuration, aerodynamic design analysis software package, numerical calculation methods of flow field, heat and thermal structure, data base technique and expert systems, and numerical wind tunnel software on CFD basis. BIA has made great progress with breakthroughs in the field of theoretical and computational aerodynamics.

     Wind tunnel test technologies in BIA, starting from conventional force measurement and pressure measurement technology, has now developed to various special aerodynamic test technologies and unsteady test technology, also arc heater test technology has been conducted.
